Bannock 101
Individual Sized Bannock
You Will Need:
1/2 Cup of Flour
1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Powder or like the Kokum's do, (1 Level Teaspoon)
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
1/3 Cup of Warm Water
Directions:

In a small bowl, add all your dry ingredients and mix1.

Create a dip in the center of your mixed flour

Add warm water till it reaches the top of the dip, and fold inwards

Little by little continue to add your warm water until the mixture is slightly sticky. NOTE: If your ingredients are still dry after adding your water, add a little more until you get that slightly sticky consistency

Gently flour your workstation, then pour the mixture over the top of the flour. Make sure you have enough so that your mixture does not stick to the surface

Gently fold your mixture until it becomes a nice constancy, dusting flour over the top until dry on the outside and taking shape
** Do not knead, always fold your mixture**
Once you have a nice shape to your Bannock, poke with a toothpick or fork a few times, place on a baking sheet or in a small pan, and place in the oven at 350 for 15 - 20 minutes until Golden Brown.
When you remove, gently glaze over with Olive Oil, Crisco Oil, or Lard and let rest for two minutes.
